What book should all Canadians be reading this year? If you are a listener to CBC radio’s 16th annual Canada Reads competition you will soon find out.
Why one reads varies from person to person, it could be for entertainment or it could be to learn something new.
What is known is, if you don’t read you can’t write. Consider the thoughts of these successful writers:

Writing is a skill that goes beyond the proper use of grammar and punctuation. Sometimes reading inspires us. Other times it is a tutorial at the pen of a master in the craft of character development, narrative arc, and plot development to name a few.
